Weatherization – Trc Companies Careers New Providence

Job Description:

TRC is looking for interns who are interested in helping conduct the on-site assessments. This will include traveling to residential customers’ homes to collect information on what weatherization has and has not been done. This will include non-intrusive assessment of wall insulation, windows, air sealing, duct sealing, pipe insulation, and HVAC equipment. TRC will train staff in how to collect this information. The training will cover many aspects related to conducting an on-site work, including preparation for the audit, the on-site data collection tool, data collection protocols, safety, and customer service. No prior experience is needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to travel to Tacoma area
• Availability to work at least 2-3 full days/week most weeks up until the month of October (the study may continue after the school year starts; availability to continue is a plus not required)
• Pursuing Bachelor or Associates degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related field.
• Self-motivated, positive, detail orientated person who is proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Clear and timely communication internally and externally39T

Job Requirements/Qualifications:</h

• TRC works at various Federal, State, and Local governmental agency sites and client projects that may require an employee to be vaccinated.
• As a condition of your employment, you may be asked to work on one of these projects and will need to disclose your COVID-19 vaccination status through a secured portal/confidential process.
