    Job Responsibilities:

    • Take inbound calls and coordinate the provision of multiple services to patients, perform a full range of administrative support services for medical offices including registration and scheduling of patients, submitting referral and prescription refill requests, obtaining detailed message for call backs, and other related duties
    • Verifies and updates demographic, insurance, and other patient information
    • Provides patient education regarding questions asked about scheduling, lab results, forms, etc
    • Problem resolution of patient issues and to communicate resolution to appropriate parties
    • Mentor new hires and existing staff in the efficient use of call handling best practices designed to ensure accurate and consistent call responses
    • Launch outbound calls as appropriate
    • Providing excellent service to our callers and patients
    • Contact a call list of patients who are out of compliance for chronic conditions and screening visits
    • Ensure patient confidentiality with the handling of all patient health information and records
    • Successful verbal and written communication in all required platforms with both internal and external customers
    • Providing the highest level of patient satisfaction
    • Partner with others to resolve escalated issues and report issues to Team Leads when appropriate
    • Meet departmental standards for production and quality
    • Meet departmental standards for schedule adherence
    • Participate in training and self-development opportunities when appropriate
    • Demonstrate a cooperative, positive attitude in the workplace
    • Perform all other duties as deemed appropriate to provide patient service

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Experience working with applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Excel
    • Experience working in patients electronic medical chart
    • General understanding of medical terminology
    • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
    • Ability to multitask with multiple applications and monitors
    • Ability to type 30+ WPM
