Job Description:

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic Structural Engineer Intern in our growing Construction Engineering Services Group. You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes structural, geotechnical, civil, drainage, roadway, rail, and materials disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects. The CES group provides design engineering solutions through brainstorming concepts, performing and/or reviewing structural calculations, developing plans and construction procedures, and scheduling tasks to meet client needs, all with the focus on mitigating risk to keep our construction crews safe.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pursuing a degree in Structural Engineering or a related degree
• Be available for full-time work during the Fall
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong work ethic – willing to do what it takes to get the job done
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned
