    • Direct and coordinate the activities of the Test team to efficiently support production needs
    • Direct and coordinate improvements to the process, software, and hardware
    • Ensure equipment spare parts, maintenance processing, equipment availability as required
    • Communicate and coordinate with many different departments and sites
    • Off-shift and/or overtime as necessary, including 24/7 on-call emergency support
    • Organize the activities of Lead Techs, Trainers and others to meet production schedules
    • Organize and approve time-off requests of shift personnel
    • Support process control efforts to assure process quality
    • Accurately project, plan, and monitor shift productivity for maximum equipment up-time
    • Demonstrate a professional image through example, availability, and dedication


    • Support and convey management decisions in a positive manner
    • Manage time effectively between all areas of responsibility
    • Set/communicate goals and expectations – help to develop short and long term goals for ongoing improvement
    • Drive performance and development goals for all area team members
    • Manage OJT for each area of ownership – new employee training, and cross training programs
    • Coach/develop all employees, encourage employees to solve problems and initiate improvements
    • Excellent time management and organization skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • Excellent leadership abilities and rapport with other people from multiple regions and cultures
    • Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast paced ever-changing environment
    • Ability to pay attention to detail under pressure
    • Ability to motivate others
