    Job Description:

    The primary purpose of this position is to provide a student trainee who has been appointed to an Air Force approved training program with on-the-job training and guidance to further student technical development

    Job Responsibilities:

    Participates with senior personnel in conducting non-routine projects.
    Provides customer service assistance.
    Provides assistance in planning, monitoring, and conducting special studies, projects, and initiatives.
    Performs selected tasks and phases of routine studies and projects that require application of basic occupational field theory and principles in the technical area of recreation assistance.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Must complete additional traning requirments including CPR, first aird, and rescue breathing.
    • You must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties.
    • This position work with children.
    • Must meet suitability requirements for Federal employment
    • Must be enrolled at least half-time at a qualiflying accredited institution
    • Meet the qualification standards of the position
    • The actual work performed in this position has been reviewed and determined that it does not meet any of the exemption criteria defined in 5 CFR 551. This position has been designated as nonexempt.
    • Must sign a Pathways Agreement
    • Males 18 years or older must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guidance
    • Enrollment must be at least half-time course load as defined by the education institution (typically six hours or equivalent for undergraduate and three hours or equivalent for graduate)
    • U.S. citizen or national (resident of American Samoa or Swains Island)
    • Accepted for enrollment or enrolled in an approved program
    • This position may require a Drug test and/or Physical Examination.
