All while understanding that together we are even better.The Women’s & Children’s Health Navigation Director is a registered professional nurse with responsibilities for facilitating an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach to support consumer navigation through the AdventHealth continuum of care. They are responsible for working with providers and multidisciplinary team members to develop and maintain patient care pathways. The Health Navigation Director assists leadership with program development by acting as liaison with stakeholder teams across the system and providing resources/data. They also participate in process improvement activities to achieve shared campus goals. They support data collection, clinical collaboration with physicians and hospital healthcare workers, and marketing/community outreach efforts. In addition, this position actively participates in outstanding customer service, and accepts responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.


    • Responsible for working with internal stakeholders to development and maintain consumer/patient care pathways to ensure efficient and consistent care navigation throughout the AdventHealth KC system of care.
    • Assists leadership in program development work by acting as liaison with stakeholder teams, and provide data and resources.
    • Provides leadership for operational effectiveness, clinical excellence and personnel management.
    • Establish strategic initiatives; creates, develops, and oversees effective outreach programs in order to meet the needs of patients in secondary and tertiary market areas.
    • Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates new patient care programs and practice models including identification of clinical objectives, capital, and other resource requirements, expected operating revenues and expenses, allocation of space and organization of program personnel and other operation components.
    • Leads continuous improvement efforts that promote clinical excellence, revenue enhancement and cost efficiency. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, department managers, staff and customers that lead to measurable improvement in patient care outcomes, efficiency, and customer service.


    • Kansas Registered Nurse License
    • BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
    • Bachelors Nursing and 3+ years experience
    • Received Magnet® recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in January 2019
