    Job Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with developers and product owners to contribute to planning and design, review product code, and formulate test scenarios.
    • Create or consult on verification and validation test plans, test reports, trace matrices to incorporate the manual and automated tests and review with relevant stakeholders.
    • Develop test automation frameworks and automated tests, build test scenarios, and construct regression, integrations, performance, and acceptance tests.
    • Create and maintain appropriate test data.
    • Understand the product code and how it interacts with different components.
    • Understand project documents, user stories, and product objectives to create and execute tests.
    • Investigate customer problems and create tests to recreate them.
    • Research test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrade existing practices and processes.
    • Be a key contributor to the architectural design of the software for testability.
    • Design testing framework software components using object-oriented techniques.
    • Code and debug testing framework software components for all layers of our product.
    • Provide feedback and suggest improvements to the Agile SDLC process.
    • Mentor and provide day to day guidance to the junior members of the software test team.Review work to ensure compliance and quality.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline with a minimum of 6 years of related experience; Masters degree in engineering or related technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years of related experience
    • 5+ years of experience in developing automated tests.
    • Understanding of software testing methodologies, life cycle and processes.
    • Experience developing high quality test strategies and test automation tools and frameworks.
    • Experience with performance testing (load, stress, spike) required
    • Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems and relational databases (T-SQL).
    • Experience using Jira and Confluence a plus
    • Experience in Python scripting language & Unix/Linux shell scripting with bash
    • Experience with code deployments and version control systems (GIT)
    • Ability to rapidly learn third party development / QA tools
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
