    Job Description:

    Hulu’s Marketing team is seeking an Associate Manager, Brand Strategy who will be an exceptional addition to our Brand and Content Marketing team and focus on how Hulu as a brand can break through into other spaces outside of streaming (i.e. Music, Gaming). The Associate Manager will be focused on new areas and verticals of opportunity for the Hulu brand that can reach the streamers of the tomorrow and younger audiences that are consuming content in less traditional ways. This individual should be a subject matter expert for the Brand and Live & Licensed Marketing Team on new trends across culture and conceive of ways Hulu can execute and take advantage across Brand, Social, Content channels and more.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work across teams to develop a content strategy that determines title priorities for various brand initiatives
    • Research, evaluate, understand and present trends and potential marketing, content and social opportunities that support brand objectives
    • Assist in building out briefs and decks that guide and inspire campaigns, partnerships and ideas
    • Be a champion of the Hulu brand and help shape all work across teams to be undeniably Hulu
    • Help shape the Hulu brand calendar and develop new ways for us to show up for our current subscribers and potential subscribers
    • Partner with the consumer insights team and research vendors to gather and synthesize insights needed to inform creative briefs and brand initiatives
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on how Hulu can use its brand to authentically reach and serve new audiences, especially the streamer of tomorrow.
    • Utilize research, insights, performance metrics and other data available to track and optimize campaigns

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Ability to think equal parts strategically, analytically and creatively and use research based and cultural insights
    • 3+ years relevant experience in brand strategy with a leading consumer facing brand or agency
    • Solid understanding of the entertainment/media landscape
    • An interest for abstract thinking, trend spotting, human behavior and pop-culture
    • Proficient in Google Slides, Docs, and Sheets.
    • Knowledge of and passion for new tech platforms
    • A love for television and film and desire to change the status quo
