Healthcare Analytics Internships – Production Operator In Lewis Center

Job Description:

Sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify maintenance issues with machines and identify them to Maintenance
• Clean and lubricate mold per schedule and document in Maximo
• Follow all lock out-tag out rules
• Perform job changeovers by removing and storing tool and auxiliary equipment to prepare for next production run
• Install and remove molds from injection molding machines

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods
• Adheres to all quality guidelines
• Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding
• Works on basic and routine assignments
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
• Works under close supervision. All work is reviewed for accuracy
• Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
