As a Research Scientist, you’ll setup large-scale tests and deploy promising ideas quickly and broadly, managing deadlines and deliverables while applying the latest theories to develop new and improved products, processes, or technologies. From creating experiments and prototyping implementations to designing new architectures, our research scientists work on real-world problems that span the breadth of computer science, such as machine (and deep) learning, data mining, natural language processing, hardware and software performance analysis, improving compilers for mobile platforms, as well as core search and much more.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Mentor and train other team members.
    • Pathfind, design, and implement deep neural networks for performing real-time 3D view synthesis and other
    • 3D image processing tasks such as relighting, background segmentation, and general scene understanding.
    • Work with Software Engineers and other Researchers to launch features using synthetically generated visual assets.
    • Develop techniques for recovering 3D information from images in the wild at scale.
    • Integrate neural networks into real-time systems that stream over the internet.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Experience with cloud compute infrastructure such as Google Cloud Services or similar.
    • Experience in C++ and Python.
    • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, or similar machine learning frameworks.
    • Experience designing and implementing complex software systems.
    • Experience advancing projects from research and development to a realized product.
    • Ability to work on an early-stage product team with associated risks and ambiguity.
