    Job Description:

    The mission of the FBI’s Health Care Fraud Case Support Team is to assist in the investigation of fraud cases involving major health care providers that operate in multiple jurisdictions and issues of national priority that require a rapid response.  The team works with DOJ’s National Rapid Response Strike Force (NRRSF).   The FBI Health Care Fraud Unit (HCFU) established the Health Care Fraud National Response Team (HCFNRT), which is comprised of Special Agents, to work with the DOJ Trial Attorneys on the NRRSF.  The FoAs will work in support of the FBI’s Health Care Fraud Case Support Team, supporting both criminal and civil investigations.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Receive, review, and analyze incoming projects/assignments; assign work and delegate responsibilities to subordinates within the respective program, taking into consider­ation factors such as the difficulty of the project, priority of assignment, workload, deadlines, and capabilities and qualifications of the employees.
    • Provide leadership and guidance and assistance to executive management and team members assigned to the
    • Global Engagement and Strategic Communications Unit (GESCU), working the Foreign Integrated Person Program, Congressional communications, and strategy related programs (National Intelligence Program
    • Funding, Enterprise Strategy and Branch and Division Compliance Committees).
    • Determine goals and objectives for assigned programs, in coordination with the Unit Chief, prepare short and long-range work plans and schedules for work, and serves as the division and field operations point-of-contact for the area of responsibility.
    • Prepare extensive reports on management initiatives; conducting or leading studies and performing analytical and evaluative work associated with Division programs.
    • Responsible for directing and monitoring the progress of administrative activities within the scope of the program, and assist the Unit Chief in the accomplishment of established Section goals.
    • Prepare and present briefings to Divisions and other FBI management, represents the Division and FBI as required at meetings, conferences, and inter­agency group settings; ensure consistent application of appropriate regulatory and statutory directives that affect operations within the purview of responsibilities.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Must be able to obtain an SCI clearance.
    • Some travel may be required.
    • Must be a current, permanent FBI employee
    • Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
