Job Description:

The Electrician is responsible for keeping all electrical power supplies and equipment operational. The Electrician is also responsible for troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing various forms of instrumentation. The Electrician will have on call responsibilities Monday through Friday (some weekends), including emergency and regular operational issues. The Electrician may be required to provide relief to others in their work area.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain inventory of all electrical operating equipment and spares
Ability to wire complex control circuits from schematic wiring diagrams
Demonstrate knowledge of electronic theory and PLC principles
Demonstrate working knowledge of DOT, ISO, EHSMS, NEC, and OSHA regulations
Troubleshoot low, medium and high voltage power circuits
Maintain acceptable attendance and EHSMS record
Perform to highest safety standards, including reporting all incidents and discrepancies
Perform maintenance with minimal down time to the operation

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Must be willing and able to work in various locations, both indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures
Able to use Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Ability to plan daily work activities in accordance with established Company and Regulatory procedures
Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) effectively
Must be willing and able to attend/complete required training courses
Must be willing and able to work in small team environments
Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent safe work ethic
Must have safe driving skills
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Ability to operate hand tools or other pipeline equipment to accomplish assigned tasks
