    Job Responsibilities:

    • Field engineering, operations planning, cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking, material procurement, contract administration, estimating and supervision of field activities
    • Performing engineering tasks requiring standard techniques and dealing with minor technical issues arising during construction
    • Maintain necessary records regarding work progress, costs, material usage, etc.
    • Planning and scheduling of work and/or work segments
    • Investigate reported issues and/or incidents, identify and recommend solutions/alternatives, as appropriate
    • Review plans and specifications to determine material requirements (quantities and qualities), material prices, etc.
    • Work with suppliers, where applicable, to facilitate material handling and expedite delivery of materials
    • Estimation of major project costs
    • Use of several software (Hard Dollar, AutoCAD, P6, InRoads etc.)

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    •  Be willing to travel or relocate as needed
    •     Be able to work full-time during winter, spring or summer
    •     In the process of undergraduate or graduate studies in civil engineering, construction management or a related field
    •     Able to access all points of the construction site in a wide range of environments and climatic conditions
    •    Demonstrate high motivation, a passion for excellence and show initiative
    •     Demonstrate a strong work ethic and be willing to take the necessary steps to get the job done right the first time
    •     Demonstrate its commitment to ethics and integrity
    •     Demonstrate a passion for safety and be able to help us keep everyone safe
    • Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
    •    Ability to work in a team and independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
    •    Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, time management and attention to detail
