    The CareAllies Regional Primary Care Practice Lead will be a key leader in CareAllies, reporting to the CareAllies Chief Executive Officer and will provide the primary direction, oversight and program readiness for all CareAllies related provider practice operations. The role will establish, manage relations and oversee operations of all practices that are acquired through a CareAllies managed joint venture between Cigna and external provider entities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Proactively reviews results and gains feedback to ensure stakeholder satisfaction is met.
    • Develop and maintain appropriate governance, documentation, communication processes and repositories needed for consistent, scalable and successful operations.
    • Participates in leadership meetings to inform CareAllies SLT of roadmap, risks and solution options.
    • Develops and maintains relationship with key matrix partners to ensure alignment of goals, solutions and delivery pertaining to practice operations.
    • Acts as the primary vendor relationship manager for vendors supporting practice operations.
    • Resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
    • Influences recommendations to key stakeholders through strong written and verbal communication.
    • Establish and drive business partner relationships to achieve engagement and adoption goals.
    • Oversee the roadmap and delivery of all end-to-end policies, processes and infrastructure needed to operate and manage acquired provider practices.
    • 25% Travel, majority in the Houston, TX metro area
    • Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. Gives input into developing the budget.
    • Develop policies and procedures to develop a cohesive and scalable training experience for employees and increase transparency and efficiency within the organization.
    • Set and execute practice operations roadmap for joint venture and CareAllies: focusing on growth, promoting quality, improving outcomes and affordability.
    • Owns the on-boarding and off-boarding of practice operations employees and contractors.
    • Lead the operations team employed by the joint venture that actively works in all acquired provider practices.
    • Participates in annual portfolio process, leading solution and financial activities related to CA reporting and analytics.
    • Regularly evaluates the efficiency of the practice operations to determine/implement process improvements to promote employee satisfaction and decrease operational expense.
    • Advance the adoption of products through the translation of feedback to new business requirements.
    • Connect with GBS and greater Cigna enterprise data strategy and reporting and analytics teams to ensure
    • CareAllies is aligned where possible and all efficiencies and capabilities can be leveraged.
    • Participates in the evaluation of provider targets identified for possible acquisition.
    • Develop KPIs that define the measurement of success for practices.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Ability to motivate employees, handle difficult employee relation issues and create a culture that supports high employee morale.
    • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.
    • Experience with negotiating and managing vendor relationships as well as Commercial, Medicare and
    • Medicare Advantage contracts.
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Strong leadership skills, demonstrated record of achieving goals, developing a culture of accountability
    • Ability to manage and lead change effectively and cultivate an environment of innovation, experimentation, rigor and continuous improvement.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in often-ambiguous situations to solve complex problems and improve quality and member/client experience.
    • Strategic thinker and problem solver, who can establish and translate business products and objectives into tangible delivery plans, drive prioritization of efforts, create roadmap of enablement services, effective delivery oversight and clear communication of success.
    • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
    • Coaching, mentoring, leading a team via various communications avenues, and driving a vision for continuous improvement.
    • At least 10 years of managerial experience managing multi-practice groups/clinics.
