    Reporting to a Regional U3000 Leader, the Regional Sales Operations Lead (RSOL) is a regional-based role supporting a Regional Leader, Market Distribution Leader(s) and field sales teams across a specified region. The role is integral to the overall delivery and execution of the Regional sales growth strategy and is a complementary partner to the Growth Leader and field sales manager teams. This role will be accountable for supporting all new and existing sales channels and buyer groups in the markets and is internally oriented-with a focus on achieving maximum sales results within the marketplace as well as local office interaction.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for establishing, leading and providing oversight for the Regional management processes that execute the vision, mission and strategic growth plan priorities to ensure that the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting processes are managed to and achieved
    • Serve as clearinghouse for the incoming projects specific to the region and market(s) and/or those that will impact region or market-level resources; work with appropriate leadership to determine net business impact of project deliverables and identify/deploy appropriate subject matter expertise to achieve desired outcomes
    • Maintain strong, positive relationships with UW, Pricing, Product, Network and other key matrix partners to review, assess and implement market solutions that drive innovation and efficiency across the region and markets
    • Manage budget allocations/expenditures for the region and markets, including staffing/headcount and Optional Services (OS) reconciliation process, partnering with the assigned region/market Business Financial Officer (BFO) to analyze and evaluate current and future budget or financial objectives
    • Provide market level support and leadership with affordability initiatives, prospecting, producer relations, and other market initiatives, as needed
    • Assist in creating and driving forward the regional and market growth strategy through working with distribution leaders, sales managers and matrix partners to help uncover opportunities, track the opportunities and meet deliverables within the pre-defined timeline
    • Report, analyze and synthesize sold business, revenue and membership reporting from Firm, STAR, and Sales Force Lightning in addition to other dashboard platforms
    • Produce reporting and manage growth calls; assist the development and oversight of management processes and monitor dashboard results.  Provide market details and analytics as requested to fulfill reporting needs of the Segment Leader, Regional Leader and Market Growth Leader / field sales management team
    • Completes timely and accurate membership projections including provision of supporting information for projection
    • Drive and manage special projects and events to include but not limited to ELT or Segment/Regional leader off site reviews, Town Hall meetings, Producer and/or Client events, etc.
    • Produces analytical reporting in support of medical, dental and specialty planning, MRC adoption, expense and earnings projections and actual results.
    • Responsible for managing the content and flow of region and/or market leadership meetings.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field equivalent experience. Master’s and/or MBA degree preferred but not required
    • Minimum 7+ years in a strategic and leadership role in a service, sales, healthcare, health plan and/or broker/consulting environment;
    • Broad knowledge, expertise and proficiency in all aspects of sales distribution, health care, external broker and customer / client relationship management
    • Ability to be an influential business leader who can impact and garner support from matrix partners across the Enterprise
    • Strong and proven leadership skills including a demonstrated ability to manage required actions in support of delivering on a vision/mission, communicating its purpose, and helping drive outcomes/results
    • Adaptable, flexible and able to lead the organization through transformation; proven track record of delivering results that are high quality, profitable and sustainable
    • Ability to effectively collaborate across the organization with other business units and influence actions/support through critical matrix and business partners
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with internal and external clients and customers; develop strong working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
    • Strong leadership, sponsorship and mentoring talents, identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching to improve their knowledge or skills
    • Ability to travel approximately 25% (or as needed), both regionally and nationally as required
