    Job Description:

    The Field Marketing Intel and Analytics (FMIA) team drives business growth across Cigna’s U.S. Commercial markets by identifying and leveraging greater market insights to develop localized marketing strategies, create highly targeted account-based strategies and optimize marketing investments and assets.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Support other assigned marketing initiatives and key elements of marketing planning process.
    • Manage and leverage internal and external resources to support the development of local market intelligence and insights.
    • Partner with enterprise insights teams to understand and share best practices, new capabilities and important insights that could apply to team’s priorities and work efforts.
    • Equip U.S. Field Marketing Managers with account-based strategy & intelligence profiles for top new business targets.
    • Develop market intelligence and insights that will drive enterprise growth in local markets – inclusive of industry, producer, competitor and other as-needed strategic reports.
    • Provide reporting and recommendations on optimizing asset investments and attribution for U.S. Commercial at a market and buyer group level.
    • Exercise creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Strong understanding of how to present market insights and key findings to marketing and sales leaders.
    • Experience working in a highly-matrixed, rapidly evolving team environment.
    • Familiarity with MiEdge/Zywave (5500 filing data), DNB Hoovers, Alphasense, Pitchbook, IHS Markit, Revelio, and/or TicketManager/other asset management platforms a plus.
    • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 7+ years of related work experience in healthcare, insurance, managed care or consulting. MBA or Master’s degree focused in data/analytics preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce and Tableau/other data visualization platforms.
    • Knowledge of market intelligence best practices and experience leveraging them across marketing and sales audiences.
    • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and intelligence down to actionable and easy-to-understand recommendations for business partners.
