    What is the Operations Leadership Development Program Internship?

    In the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) Internship, you interact with other OLDP Interns and full-time Associates in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment. You will have the opportunity to grow a network with senior managers within Operations. Your projects will work to increase efficiency and sustainability across multiple businesses and while you learn the daily operations that ensure production goals are met, improvements are made, and systems are managed. With Siemens’ team of innovators as your mentors, you will visit facility sites and assist in developing a solution-based plan for improved production.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assay / Reagent technical problem solving (Chem E, BioMed, Chemistry)
    • Manufacturing Engineering; Assays and Instruments
    • Support of production process; Assays and Instruments
    • Supply Chain – Operations
    • Process improvement, LEAN or Six Sigma project
    • Project Management

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Majors: BS/BA – Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biochemistry and Biological Sciences, Molding Engineering, Automation, Industrial Distribution, Operations/Materials Management, Supply Chain Management
    • Education: Rising undergraduate seniors pursuing a BS/BA from an accredited technical school, college, or university
    • Availability: Ability to work on-site, 40 hours per week, from May to August. Strong interest in working in a production environment.
    • Minimum GPA: 3.2
    • Relocation and Travel: Must be willing to relocate and travel as required by program. Housing subsidies may be available.
    • Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required
