    General Summary GT Energy, a leading research and development organization serving global energy markets, is seeking an Intern to join the Energy Supply & Conversion team as we create innovative solutions to current and future Energy challenges within our Lab and Bench Scale Operations Group.     Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist in research at laboratory- and bench-scale by conducting trials and experiments as needed for project work or in support of testing.
    • Support both the Pilot and Bench scale testing with expertise in analytical and sampling methods
    • Participate in the design, assembly, operation, and maintenance of laboratory and bench-scale test facilities.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Previous familiarity with R&D activities with supervision, including laboratory experiments and analysis
      • Ability to operate lab-scale test equipment.
      • Knowledge of data collection systems and software (for example National Instruments hardware and LabVIEW).
      • Documenting, analysis and interpretation of test results and experimental data.
      • Experience with gas/liquid analysis instruments is a plus.
      • Prior introduction to developing P&IDs, operating procedures, Hazard studies, risk reduction analysis, process specifications is a plus.
    • Independent and team-based problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including writing reports, presentations and contributing to technical proposals.
