    Job Description:

    Overall Purpose: Designs, plans and oversees installation, maintenance, and optimization, and/or performance of wireless radio access network communications systems, including radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis, frequency coordination, cell site equipment layout, parameter definition and ancillary equipment. May include GIS(Geographic Information Systems) performance analysis & drive testing. Analyzes RAN data to recommend optimal changes to RAN network to improve all key indexes and performance indicators. May include engineering, design, development, test, implementation, maintenance, RF optimization, capacity management, performance management, encryption, and/or troubleshooting of satellite networks and Teleports, including underlying routing. Job Contribution: Technical professional with some experience. Sound technical knowledge growing through application, expanding knowledge of ATT technologies.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Actively support the Ericsson and Nokia MGCF Complexes in resolving advanced issues in any of the platforms.
    • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions (workload placement, network evolution to packet, sunsetting, capacity management)
    • Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance
    • Implement configuration as code practices integrated with CI/CD processes and tools
    • Identify, analyze, and resolve network function vulnerabilities and deployment issues
    • Meet with technical operations and network planning to assess future growth and capacity requirements
    • Monitor latest industry trends and relevant technologies and drive application as appropriate
    • Work independently, guided by organizational goals and objectives. Lead or participate in multiple projects of varying complexity and breadth
    • Resolve IP networking issues in the Voice Core network
    • Carry out additional duties as assigned
