    The architect will be an individual contributor & will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, discover & identify improvements, and qualify solutions for power generation, delivery, and control. The architect will consider and define system-level solutions for Interconnect, PDN (power delivery network), Telemetry, and Power Management.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and critical issues as needed to executive team
    • Partner with multiple Engineering leads to drive cross functional programs through delivery; inclusive of timelines, planning, requirements, and dependencies.
    • Manage risks, mitigations, and drive alignment across the organization and between teams
    • Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics to drive engineering and design alignment with support from project team, maintaining an orientation toward teamwork and collaboration
    • Proactively identify issues and solutions, and mobilize resources necessary to address and resolve. Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and track risks to schedule and product quality, including multi-functional dependencies

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Experience in mobile and desktop power delivery architectures
    • Experience evaluating architectural trade-offs for power delivery
    • Experience delivering fast transient power to a chipset (e.g., SoC, CPU,..)
    • Strong fundamentals in analog integrated circuit design and power electronics
    • Working knowledge of various power delivery components such as high-frequency multiphase buck & boost converters, LDOs, charge pumps, voltage references, ADCs & DACs, PMICs, Backlight controllers & LED drivers.
    • Working knowledge of PMIC state machine definition, modes, and behaviors
    • Experience working with Li-ion battery based systems and charging architectures and profiles
    • Familiar with system level communication protocols for power management and debug such as I2C, SPMI, JTAG.
    • Understanding of board & system-level design considerations such as device packaging, PDN, PCB layout on power delivery limitations (e.g., battery impedance, place & route, connectors, device thermal constraints).
