    Job Description:

    Under moderate supervision of the Vice President and the Finance Director Strategic Global Sourcing (SGS), this key role performs inventory analysis and reports, along with various financial analyses for SGS. The Senior Financial Analyst, Strategic Global Sourcing will work closely with the Replenishment Operations team to provide financial reporting to management and ensure inventory and expenses are monitored and operational issues relative to finance are highlighted and addressed.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Prepares and presents monthly financial analysis and reports to Senior Leadership.
    • Develops and prepares productivity and efficiency analysis for business sales segments.
    • Develops, coordinates and prepares business unit operating expenses for financial plans.
    • Analyzes monthly business unit and functional financial statements and operating expenses.
    • Generates monthly forecast, annual budget, and long range plan to share with Business Leads and partners.
    • Creates and presents training documentation for new associates including presenting to Drug Finance during our bi-weekly Lunch & Learn sessions
    • Performs related duties as assigned.
    • Assists sales management in generating reports for the purpose of acquiring new business, calculates customer profitability and tracks gross profit initiatives.
    • Interacts and partners with business segments teams to gather and compile data needed to conduct analyses, identify trends and/or address senior management requests.
    • Generates ad hoc analysis reports as needed.
    • Present financial statements to key executives across the company

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Working knowledge of accounting and planning software packages.
    • Ability to follow and interpret profit and loss statements
    • Understanding of ABC policies, philosophy, goals and objectives in order to affect financial oversight in protecting the company’s assets.
    • Knowledge of various financial management areas such as credit and collection principles, commercial credit, uniform commercial code, financial statement analysis, business law, plan development, productivity and profitability analysis.
    • Three (3) or more years of relevant experience
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
    • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
    • Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices
    • Ability to work well both independently as well as within a team oriented environment
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
