    As a Project Manager in adidas market ecom organization your task is to ensure a portfolio of strategic projects remains on track to delivery and that priorities are aligned between the market and global digital organizations.  You will manage and deliver small digital projects, significant RFCs or sub-elements of mid-scale digital projects. The project scope is on a local (market) level across brands and functions. Your objective is to conduct the projects within the boundaries of time, cost & quality while focusing on consumers’ expectations and requirements. Planning, executing and tracking projects in cooperation with the respective functions and project team members are a few examples of what is expected from this role. Additionally, you will be focusing on resource management and coordination activities, acting as the central interface to local stakeholders.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the market representative consolidating inputs into the globally-led strategic planning and enhancement/insight processes
    • Manage project controlling as an independent element to ensure that actual project costs are in line the committed budget.
    • Oversee a portfolio of strategic projects, working with leaders to ensure projects are on track and risks and escalations are addressed.
    • Support Sr. Leadership in organizational structure development to support projects or strategies
    • As conflicts and escalations arise within projects, identify solutions and drive their resolution in a timely and appropriate manner.
    • Act as the key contact person for local stakeholders.
    • Resource Planning
    • Conduct engagement reviews. Verify compliance with quality assurance procedures. Validate if project are delivering against program KPIs.
    • Develop detailed plans that allow providing transparency on progress and identifying risks on time.
    • Monitor project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against plan in order to implement corrective or preventive actions.
    • Facilitate initial demand discussions.
    • Support Director in the planning and facilitation of meetings and events related to strategic projects rollout
    • Help define new ways of working and operating models to support business needs
    • Deliver select projects end-to-end successfully, ideally through effective application of PMI/Agile methodology.
    • Identify interdependencies with other projects and solve issues proactively.
    • Project Controlling
    • Drive continuous improvement of products, processes or systems within the project scope.
    • Manage change within projects and ensure changes are smoothly and successfully implemented to achieve lasting benefits.
    • Apply appropriate and effective communication methods to senior management and important stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Ease operating model and process challenges by facilitating workshops to understand pain points, conducting process mapping, and making recommendations for improvement in process, tools, and resources
    • Work with global and local stakeholders to assess feasibility, complexity and technical solution options for business problems and insights.
    • Lead and manage team resources (internals and externals) to deliver and support projects & programs.

    • Facilitate priority alignment between local eCom and global teams
    • Create presentations and email newsletters to report on projects
    • Project/ Program Delivery
    • Develop and support change management activities for project roll outs

    Job Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Implement the base platform capabilities, build by global, required to fulfill business cases, together with IT.
    • Create business cases for your market with support from local/global Analytics team to evaluate growth opportunities.
    • Contribute to developing and orchestrating the demand & delivery process within DBC.
